THE AUTHORS |

Hanna Saadah was born in Lebanon in 1946 and came to the U.S. in 1971 for post-graduate medical training at the OU Health Sciences Center. Lebanon prevented his return so he adopted Oklahoma City as his new home, the home where his three boys were born and raised, and where he continues to practice medicine and write.

He has published four books of poetry and one novel, The Mighty Weight of Love , which was released in November 2005. The novel is a mainstream love story which captures the emotions of two Oklahoma City families startled by the Oklahoma City bombing.

He is currently working on his second novel, Epistole. This is an epistolary love affair between a Moslem woman in Beirut and a Christian man in Oklahoma, which spans a twenty-five year era of international turmoil and personal strife.

The editor for all of his books has been his wife, Judy, who has worked with him for the past 20 years and to whom he is forever grateful. Together they share five children and five grandchildren.

Dr. Saadah and his wife have also founded Almualif Publishing, LLC and began to use their publishing company as a vehicle for up-and-coming authors. Twenty percent of the proceeds from each sale are donated to charitable organizations.
